It’s that time again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have a date!
September 3rd 10am – 2:30pm
Once again – the Red Cross will bring the donation bus. We have a new goal of 28 units – I know we can make that goal with plenty to spare!
Last year several teens came to donate but sadly , were turned away because they lacked proper ID. Everyone who donates must have a picture ID!!!
Last year 7 people were declined due to low iron counts. This is also an easy fix – the two days prior to donating make sure you stay well hydrated – eat plenty of protein AND – this is VERY important: during the in-take, when you have your blood pressure and iron checked: MAKE SURE TO KEEP YOUR HANDS WARM AND THE BLOOD CIRCULATING!! RUB, RUB, and RUB your hands and fingers together before the finger stick! This can raise your reading by 5 or more points!
Paper sign up sheets for donors are now available in the fellowship hall.
email firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred time.
