The Mother Teresa Guild Holiday Cookie Bake Sale will be held after each Mass the weekends of December 5th and 6th, 12th and 13th, and 19th and 20th!

History of the Guild

Six women started the Mother Teresa Guild in 1999. They wanted to show their love and support for Good Shepherd Church and their local community.

With Mother Teresa as their guide and inspiration, the women began with small fund raising activities to help support the various needs of the church.

Over time, the women of the Guild have held numerous bake sales and homemade dinner fundraisers in support of King Outreach Ministry (KOM), the McGee House (for disabled adults), local nursing homes and other charitable contributions.

Parish Activities

In addition to the Mother Teresa Guild’s charitable work, the women of the Guild play an active role in parish life. Whether it’s First Communion, Confirmation, or reaching out to those who’ve experienced the loss of a loved one – the Mother Teresa Guild is always ready and willing to bake a cake, plan a celebration, offer a cup of coffee, a hand to hold or a shoulder to cry on.

The Mother Teresa Guild extends an open invitation to women, eighteen or over. Please give prayerful consideration to becoming a member of the Guild and help us continue the blessed work of Mother Teresa, here in our local community.
